5 Solutions From Jokowi Overcoming Traditional Markets


Since becoming Governor of Jakarta, Joko Widodo have done a number of breakthroughs in the capital markets matter. Some are cared for street vendors, while other facilities related to the market.

Entering PKL to Mal

Market Rejuvenation

Jokowi and Ahok asked PD Pasar Jaya rejuvenation of the four markets in Jakarta. The market are Pasar Minggu, Pasar Rumput, Pasar Jati Rawasari dan Cempaka Putih. The markets are right to life is over, will be added amenities such as clinics, Rusunawa, and the Early Childhood Education.

Apartment in Top Markets

At a meeting between the city administration and PD Pasar Jaya, discussed about the concept of cheap apartments on the market. The program is designed to facilitate the needs of the traders. Ahok interested in making this concept in the Pasar Rumput. Markets and traders still selling, but made an apartment above it. Later, the concept of apartments in the market, people living in the river or in the slums will be invited to stay in a cheap apartment it. They certainly would if their home was near the workplace.

3. Challenge BPMP to Overseas by an Economics Aircraft and Sleep on One Bed Together

1. Challenge To Create A Bridge From Personal Money


In a video uploaded on YouTube, Ahok ordered the Department of Public Works budget cut by 25 percent in 2013. Vice Governor of Jakarta has even said that if not, he will bring this budget to the KPK (Anti-Corruption Commission) while opening the 'old scab'.

"If you say you can not, let us argue. Take, for example, I woke up (a bridge). And then when I wake up (a bridge) with my money, I would check all the work that has past, I will check and process it on KPK and prosecutors. We open old sores. If you do not want to open old sores, let us open the new Jakarta, "said Ahok the 2013 budget meeting with the Public Works Department.

This meeting was held in the meeting room Bappeda City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (8/11) ago.

2. Challenge To Make Video's All Council Meetings

Ahok regretted the question that is always repeated by members of the Board of Administration of the discussion KUAPPAS. According to him, the question suggests that the attitude of members of the program is not open to the city government.
