Tucuxi
State Owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan known amid requested home modifications "Kupu Kupu Malam" in Yogyakarta to build an electric sports car. The car was designed by Danet Suryatama who is a graduate of ITS. He continued to study at Michigan. He's 10 years working in the famous car company in America, Chrysler.

Eventually he founded a company called Elektrikcar LLC and is headquartered in Michigan USA. Efforts and achievements honored by winning the competition "INDOPRENEUR USA" and is entitled to an investment to expand its business. INDOPRENEUR USA itself is a collaboration between the Foundation with the U.S. Embassy in Indonesia. And they also got help management by MEKAR Entrepreneur Network.

Electric cars work by Danet, named Tucuxi, able to accommodate up to 4 passengers like ordinary sedan. The most interesting is the mileage. By using batteries, this car could drive up to 320 kilometers.
Tucuxi on the road
Until now Dahlan Iskan said there had been 100 people who order this Tucuxi car. He said the car was even interested ambassador of one European country, and the plan will be brought to the European continent. "European Ambassador has also been booked but I do not want to mention his name, will be brought to Europe," said Dahlan.
