There are also several places for tourists to learn to ride around the island.
This is the advantage of Gili Trawangan compared to another island in Indonesia. Motor vehicles are prohibited to operate there. Means of transportation allowed are bicycles (rented by local people for the tourists) and cidomo, simple horse-drawn carriage which are common in Lombok.
Gili Trawangan has beachs facing west and east. The distance between this beach is not too far away. Simply walk or ride cidomo, tourists can enjoy the sunset and sunrise in the island. There is no doubt, Gili Trawangan does have very beautiful underwater. Sea water is so clear on this island, with shades of blue and green that adorn the sea. Because the water is so clear you can see fish and coral reef right off the cruise ship, without having to dive.
But if you want to enjoy the underwater world more leverage, try to dive. Never miss a chance to see a clown fish aka Nemo that swim with graceful. Not only nemo, colorful coral reefs also you can find there. Gili Trawangan, including Gili Indah village in West Lombok. The island is flanked by two other gili, namely Gili Air and Gili Meno. Vacationing in Gili Trawangan, you can also enjoy the beauty of the two other gili.
At night, Gili Trawangan really belongs to foreign tourists, local tourists usually go home when it's late afternoon. All cafe in Central, the name for the art market in Gili Trawangan, who lined along the coast began to play music, seemed in Legian Bali, only this time the cafes were standing around at the beach. It was like a mix between Legian to Kuta.
